VLC for Android 3.4.3 update, VLC now wipes entire library and re-indexes/parses media on every refresh

There are a number of bugs with this update. The sort by date added does not work at all and sorts in ascending order regardless of what the arrow shows.

More critical is a bug where the VLC will constantly zap your media library and rescan everything. It appears to do it you click refresh or if swipe to the top (fire tablet) of the media list, which normally causes a refresh. The little refresh wheel will start spinning then suddenly it will say "no media found", your entire library is wiped, and it will immediately start parsing all your media again (in my case 500Gb worth). It does this on any attempt to refresh it appears.
