Starting a video from external app, with background / pip running restarts the previous video

When starting a video from external app or VLCBenchmark, with background / pip running, the video that was playing will be restarted, not the one we wanted to start.

Small nuance, starting a video from a file manager, with video in the background not PiP, seems to work. With the benchmark both restart the old video.
