Regression: external storage dialog always asked

Description

The "New storage detected" dialog is always shown even if the user specifically says "No" to it.

Expected behavior

The dialog shouldn't be shown anymore

Steps to reproduce

1. Clear data
2. Launch the app and complete the onboarding
3. The dialog is shown -> say no
4. Kill the app and relaunch it
5. The dialog is shown again
