Disabling Volume and Brightness gestures and Double tap to seek also disable VR angle controls
Description
VLC provides angle and zoom control for VR videos by using hand gestures during video playback. At the same time, it also provides hand gestures to control audio volume, brightness and seek. Albeit, these controls are replaced by angle controls during playback of VR videos.
There are options in the settings to disable the aforementioned gestures, but disabling all of them also disable all angle (but not zoom) controls during VR video playback, even though the angle controls are completely different functionality. In this state, even though the zoom controls still work, if zoom in or out is performed on the video, as soon as the seek bar and other UI elements are hidden, they will never come back regardless of how many times the screen is tapped, and the only way out is to exit the application using android controls.
Note that none of this happens if any one of the volume, brightness, or seek gestures are enabled.
Expected behavior
Disabling volume and brightness gestures and double tap to seek should not disable VR angle controls.
Actual behavior
Disabling volume and brightness gesture and double tap to seek, at the same time, disables VR angle controls, as well.
Steps to reproduce
- Untick Settings>Video>Volume gesture
- Untick Settings>Video>Brightness gesture
- Untick Settings>Video>Double tap to seek
- Play a VR video
- Try changing the angle by moving your finger across the screen --> nothing will happen
- Zoom out of the video using hand gestures
- Wait for seek bar to disappear
- Tap on the screen --> seek bar will not appear anymore
