Playlist not finding files

I'm experiencing a strange issue lately where one of my playlists is not populating correctly. I have four playlists in my library, all m3u files, and three of the four are fine. The fourth playlist, however, only shows the first four tracks.

I've checked my library and all the audio files are there and correctly named (in fact, I can play the tracks individually from VLC's Audio tab), but they don't show up in that playlist. I opened the playlist's m3u file and nothing looks wrong; all the file names, paths, etc are correct. Besides, I haven't edited the playlist file nor anything in my library in a long time.

I don't know exactly when this issue started, but certainly it's within the last month. In that period, two changes have occured: VLC updated (via Play Store) to v3.4.2, and my OS updated to Android 12. I'm guessing one of those is responsible, but I don't know which.

I have tried restarting my phone, rescanning my library in VLC, and force-quitting VLC and clearing the app cache.

Running Android 12 (Build SP1A.210812.016.A1) and VLC v3.4.2 on Google Pixel 3 (non-root).
