2160p 4K x265 H.265 bad playback performance on Chromecast with Google TV
Description
I'm unable to playback 4K H.265 MKVs from local storage or via SMB - the performance is really bad, lots of dropped frames and slowdowns.
(This is with the default "Hardware Acceleration" set to "Automatic". None of the other options improve the situation, however - I have tried them all and restarted the whole device for every change)
Expected behavior
Smooth playback, just like when casting from my Windows PC to device using Airflow.app (which supports 4K H.265 casting without reencoding, showing the device is capable).
Actual behavior
Playback stutters/lags horribly
Steps to reproduce
- Play any 2160p 4K x265 H.265 .mkv either from local storage or SMB share
- Playback will stutter horribly
