android tv 10 - vlc cannot login to synology smb

vlc can access the same synology server thru dlna, but as far I know the subtitles from external txt file cannot be loaded using dlna, trus I'm using smb connection and loading subtitles manually.

Expected behavior

log in to smb share

Actual behavior

using user/password combinations vlc is not getting into smb share, constantly asking for login and password to synology smb share, basically You stuck on smb login user/password page

no logs are generated on synology logs during login attempts

Steps to reproduce

create synology share, dsm v4.
