VLC for Android does not accept MRLs because of "/" char

Version: VLC 1.7.5 (VLC for Android)

Problem: In VLC for Android, I can't open the network stream "tcp/h264://192.168.0.22:8000/" because "/" is apparently not allowed in the beginning of the url. Removing "/h264" allowed me to connect to the stream, but would not demux properly.

Workaround: Save the connection to an m3u file, then open the m3u via HTTP. Thanks to refp on the freenode #videolan channel.
