Chromecast not working anymore with Android TV
Hi,
I have been using the Chromecast feature with my Sony Android TV KD-43XE8096 plenty of times before but now it is not working anymore, while it works fine with any other player (Youtube, Netflix, Spotify, etc.). I have tried clearing cache / clearing data of the Chromecast Built-in app, force stop the app, resetting the TV.
VLC 3.0.4 64-bit Windows 10 Version 1803 Chromecast Built-in for Android TV v 1.36.140076 (13/11/2018)
From the Google Play Store I can uninstall the updates and revert back to version 1.29.104695 of Chromecast Built-in, and it works...
So I assume a change has been made in Chromecast that has not been taken into account in VLC just yet.
(PS: I hope you are sill working on how to bring subtitles to Chromecast ;) )
