VLC does not manage files in XIAOMI MI BOX 4S well

VLC does not manage files in XIAOMI MI BOX S well. I have a Xiaomi mi Box S, I have connected a 2 TB hard drive with video files and photos. The folders of the files of my last trip, which are recorded with the DJI Osmo Pokect camera in HD and 4K quality, when I explore with the VLC android application, not all the files that integrate these folders appear, at some times some more folders appear although messy and then disappear again. I have verified that it is not a problem of the hard disk since exploring with other applications, KODI for example, all the files appear correctly.
