Media Library Folders: Allow specifying network locations

Motivation: I love VLC and want to use it as a replacement for streaming my music library. Network browsing is kind of slow (and has no search), so I want to add media from network locations into the main library.

The "Media library folders" settings allows you to insert a custom path, but when I try to type in a network location, it gives a toast, saying The directory path 'sftp://***:***@****.com:****/home/guest/music' was not found.
