Subtitles are unreadable when cropped
Description
Subtitles can be cut off or distorted if the video is resized.
Expected behavior
Subtitles should never be cut off or distorted, they should never go over the edge of the screen or the edge of the video.
Actual behavior
Subtitles are unreadable in these display formats of the video:
- Best fit: no issues
- Fit screen: Subtitles are cut off at the edge of the screen*
- Fill, 16:9, 4:3: Subtitles are distorted*
- Center: Subtitles are cut off at the edge of the screen**
*
only applies if the display format has a different effect than "Best fit"
(f.e. if the video is already 16:9, then "16:9" setting doesn't do anything different than "Best fit", and in "Best fit" there are no issues. If the video is 18:9, then "16:9" setting will display the video distorted.)
**
only applies if video resolution is higher than screen resolution
Steps to reproduce
- play a video and add any subtitles that show text within the length of the video (subtitles with 2 lines of text are useful to demonstrate the problem)
- Resize the video to create one of the cases described above
