Android TV: The home button hide the video for good

Device: Shield TV on Android 9

Reproduce steps:

• Play a video
• Press the HOME button: the sound continue but there is no video at all
• Resume the app: it's impossible to open a video anymore, re-opening the same file do nothing
• Only possible fix: force kill the app
