[bug] "Light theme" mode fallbacks language to system default

Description

When a special interface language is set up and switching the layout to "Light theme" in the settings menu, the language stuck on system default language. Was reproduced with current 3.3.0-beta. All other DayNight modes seems to work correctly and don't change the interface language, happens only when using the light mode.

Steps to reproduce

1. switch to a different language (not the system default one)
2. switch the layout to "Light theme"
3. open settings menu or use split app mode and check if the language fallback to system default
