No 5.1 Surround Sound in Firefos with VLC Plugin

There is a 5.1 testfile wich is definitely in 6 channels, format *.mp4 (see URL below).

Offline with newest VLC (Win 2.2.1) it is OK reproducing the six channels with 5.1 surround equipment connected with soundcard (6 channels chosen) [as it is with for exemple Foobar2000], in browser FF 41.01.1 NOT.

The same URL plays correct in 5.1 in Chrome 45.0.2454.101 (after setting parameters ...chrome.exe --disable-audio-output-resampler). So sumn up these facts, it seems due to VLC Plugin that the 5.1 sound reproduction doesn't work in Firefox.

Can anyone help with this issue?

URL for file is

https://www2.iis.fraunhofer.de/AAC/ChID-BLITS-EBU-Narration.mp4

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
