CI instance hangs/crashes/errors when attempting to run some compute shaders
I'm not entirely sure why this is the case. It happens for both Vulkan and OpenGL, and I think only for some specific compute shaders. I don't remember off-hand which ones they are.
Vulkan:
INTEL-MESA: error: ../src/intel/vulkan/anv_device.c:2760: GPU hung on one of our command buffers (VK_ERROR_DEVICE_LOST)
OpenGL:
i965: Failed to submit batchbuffer: Input/output error
There's also some dmesg spam. I can dig up some examples of failed pipelines and their full logs if you need me to.
Not sure what the best resolution here is. Maybe we can figure out what's causing it, or maybe you can arrange some CI instance with a different/newer model GPU. (It doesn't need to be powerful, just new enough, and have good linux drivers)
