Audio drops out when streaming to AirPlay 2 devices

prerequisits:

  1. VLC on AppleTV is installed
  2. Audio is played over at least one homepod (user has two homepods)

Steps to reproduce: Stream cabeltv to VLC on AppleTV with Audio over homepods

Result:

the audiostream stops intermittently and when it continues, it plays at what feels like 1,5 speed before cutting out again.

expected: plays without issues
