LibVLCSharp 3.4.0 will hang build in Release mode for Xamarin.Android

Summary

In the latest LibVLCSharp version 3.4.0 there is a bug while building Android project in Release mode. Build is hanged and can't be canceled. Visual Studio hangs completely. Ctrl + Alt + Del -> End Task for Visual Studio is the only solution

Update to LibVLCSharp version 3.4.0 and start build Xamarin.Android project in Release mode

Build shoud be completed with success

Environment

LibVLCSharp version: 3.4.0
Visual Studio: 16.3.9
Working machine: Windows 10
