      stats module · bacd5123
      Ilkka Ollakka authored
      Prints dts, segment number, length, difference to previous dts and md5
      of block.
      with prefix-option you can give prefix to print in stats-line, so you can
      add stats module multiple times with different prefixes. Output to file
      is given with output parameter.

      LGPL relicensing of streaming output · 2416d7d1
      Jean-Baptiste Kempf authored
      Re-license almost all the streaming modules to LGPLv2.1+ with
      authorization from their respective contributors
      After access_output, this includes stream_out and mux.
      The duplicate and rtp modules are not concerned by this relicensing
      because of unreachable authors. Notably:
       - An L. Ber (dedd7cd2)
       - Andy chenee (5caa2bab)
      Thanks to everyone for their help and answers in due time

      Modules: correct LGPL header · 504617b7
      Jean-Baptiste Kempf authored
      Cool hints:
       - If your header doesn't match "Lesser" 3 times, you are not good
       - If you use LGPLv2, you are not good
       - If you use the old FSF address, you are not good

      sout: allow duplicate outputs to be merged · 1743aae3
      Rafaël Carré authored
      The stream_out_t chain creation is modified: all modules are created by
      the core (or by stream_out_duplicate) instead of being created by the
      previous module.
      sout_StreamChain{New,Delete} replace sout_Stream{New,Delete} to handle
      modules chains instead of individual modules
      sout_Stream{New,Delete} are still used by those new functions but made
      static inside stream_output.c
      Remove now unneeded psz_chain from struct sout_instance_t
      Replace pointer to chain of next module by pointer to next module in
      struct sout_stream_t
      Example use:
      vlc --sout-all input.mp4 --sout
      (dst=transcode without acodec/vcodec is a hack to pass the encoded stream to
      stream_out_standard without transcoding)

      * Headers in include/vlc must contain the structures and prototypes
        needed by external libvlc clients
      * Moved and renamed some things in headers.
         - Removed vlc_cpu.h, vlc_error.h (merged in vlc_common)
         - Removed snapshot.h (merged in vlc_vout.h)
         - Removed vlc_spu.h (merged in vlc_osd.h)
         - Removed intf_eject.h and vlc_interaction.h (merged in vlc_interface)
         - Moved all internal headers to src
         - Merged vlc_video.h and video_output.h and move private things to src

      * Removed some useless dependencies
      * Unexported a bunch of functions and structures used only in src/

      * Finally made input_thread_t and input_source_t (mostly) private.
        Added input_GetItem to fetch the input_item of an input_thread
