There are real-life cases. There may also be differences in punctuations
and character sets. Besides the VLC core will anyway apply gettext to
these strings, so they are translatable in any case...

Note that _protocol abbreviations_ and friends are not localisable!

Fix potential segfault (check malloc return value).

This improves readability a lot and prevent us from reinventing the wheel.

Missing some cases that I could not test.
Also ffmpeg/chroma.c is locked, so I can but leave it broken.
Fix is for the remaining modules is obvious and the issue is easy to detect.

subtitle decoding, and this split further simplifies what belongs to

Subsdec: Split the decoder for subsdec / SSA / USF in three files, since the code has grown a bit too much in order to improve readability.
Some functions may still need to be renamed and moved from a file to another.
I hope it is done in the correct way, if not, tell me or revert.
