This allows to drop https URLs on the VLC icon as well, in addition
to http URLs.

Additionally, this removes VLC again from the list of web browsers
the user can choose in system settings --> general.

Info.plist: add support for dvdmedia packages, which are essentially Video_TS dumps for Apple's DVD Player.app

This affects: .opus, .ogx, .wtv, .rec, .vro, .tod and .mks

Previously, the OS automatically switched from integrated graphics to dedicated ones as soon as VLC is launched since it is using OpenGL. Of course, that's wrong, since VLC runs quite nicely on the integrated ones to draw its single texture, so there is no need to waste battery life on the dedicated card.

Note that the @2x artwork is missing at the moment, so there will be artifacts in the main window and the about panel

This will fix a bunch of crashes related to the buggy 10.5 64bit runtime.

Mac OS X: added various missing file extensions to the supported-by-this-application-list (xa, m3u8, b4s, vlc, xm, amr, aob, dts, cdg, idx, oma, voc, vqf, mpeg1, mpeg2, mpeg4, mts, mid, mlp, webm, rar, rec, rmi, s3m, vro, tod, utf)

Shows basic release notes and demonstrates the user experience. Actual updating not yet possible.

This works with 10.2, 10.3 and 10.4, but 10.3 requires the code we have in VLCApplication.

Finally upgrade the build target to a native one (in favour of a jam-based one, whose support is to be reomoved by Xcode's next release)

Regrettably, this adds yet another file where to change the VLC version
