BFMTV live video hangs randomly at some point

I confirm the issue, how can we access VLC Android logs?

More > SETTINGS > Extra settings > Advanced > Developer > Debug logs. Note that DUMP LOGCAT LOG seems to be the most appropriate as the clipboard is too easily filled with more than 65535 characters which is the maximal length for Signal messages for instance. /sdcard/vlc_logcat_20231208_232038.log. I do not know what it precisely involves but unticking in a first step Developer > Verbose to reduce possibly the verbosity of the dump. Note that to ease access to the Debug logs interface, when logging, there is a notification shortcut to it.

How frequently BFMTV direct link change?

Maybe just testing with ffplay could helps. Can in addition screen record with audio such that can afterwards see logs when the audio stops.

Make sure to wait enough to let the ability for VLC to resume the stream.

If I remember correctly the video hangs, then the VLC icon rotates in the middle of the screen and after some point a bit of the video continues as before it hung and then it hangs back without VLC icon.
